Player-Parent Agreement
The purpose of this agreement is to provide expectations relative to participation in Dallas Texans SC,
Austin Division.
The Dallas Texans Austin Division Will:
1. Provide professional training for the duration of the 2007-2008 seasonal year beginning with a
team camp in late July through mid December for Fall and from January 7 through the end of the
Spring season in May (or later if team qualifies for post-season playoffs).
2. Offer optional playing and training activities (at additional cost) during off season.
3. Foster and develop players’ individual responsibilities on and off the field.
4. Provide written assessments for each player.
5. Communicate team goals and progress with team families during the season.
6. Develop and assess the skills and qualifications of each coach
The Dallas Texans Austin Division Player Will:
1. Complete the on-line registration process ASAP
2. Attend all scheduled training sessions and games. Absences due to illness, family functions, or
school activities are to be communicated to the team coach ahead of time.
3. Report to games 45 minutes prior to kick-off, attired with Club uniform and appropriate soccer
gear (shin guards, soccer shorts/sweats/shoes, soccer ball, water).
4. Report to practice on time, attired with Club training kit and appropriate soccer gear (shin guards,
soccer shorts/sweats/shoes, soccer ball, water).
5. Be attentive, cooperative, and respectful to coaches and teammates; and expend full effort for the
duration of each training session.
6. Communicate with your coach about any problems, concerns, or questions relative to your
participation in the team, or the team itself.
The Dallas Texans Austin Division Parent Will:
1. Assist the development of players’ individual decision-making abilities by not offering
instructions from the sidelines during training and games.
2. Entrust soccer decisions to the coaches.
3. Assist players’ timely arrival to training, games, and tournaments.
4. Be supportive spectators of all teams and players.
5. Allow the coach or club official to handle all communications with referees during and after all
matches.
6. Volunteer in some capacity as requested by the club (5 hrs minimum), or in lieu of hours,
offer a monetary donation of $50.
7. Pay all fees for services in the specified timeframes as identified on “Parent/Player
Commitment Contract”, unless a separate payment plan has been arranged.
- Payments shall be credited first to overdue accounts, late fees, return check fees, and the
remainder to current fees and charges
- Pay all return check fees in the amount of $30 per returned check
- Pay late payment fees in the amount of $25 per month if payment is not received by the
10th day of the currently scheduled payment plan
